Programs for Young Children

In addition to the quality programming offered by all the youth organizations, many offer programs for young children who fall just short of the age requirements of their desired group. These programs offer the same core values as the organizations who sponsor them and are tailored to fit the needs of the younger audience.

Young children’s programming is not offered at each local division of its respective organization, so be sure to ask the adult leaders of your local group(s) for the availability of programming.

Rainbow: Pledges

The Rainbow Pledge group provides programming for girls ages 6 to 11 which aims to develop both their minds and character through fun, interactive events. Pledges enjoy their time by playing games, making crafts and receiving quality guidance from other Rainbow Girls.

DeMolay: Squires

Squires is a values-based organization for boys ages 9 to 11. Focusing on the importance of education, honesty and equality, the Squires programs give their members opportunities for mentorship from active DeMolays and advisors. This mentorship gives them an understanding of how to be an example for those around them.

Job's Daughters: Jobie-to-Bee

The Jobie-to-Bee program, for girls ages 8 to 9, allows involvement for those who are not yet old enough to join Job’s Daughters but wish to become part of the organization. Jobies-to-Bee participate in most activities and make friends within the local groups. Through learning from their Job’s Daughters role models, Jobies-to-Bee become contributing members to their community and are given many opportunities to try new things and learn new skills.
